NMSU awarded bronze level Bicycle Friendly University!

New Mexico State University was awarded the bronze level Bicycle Friendly University designation by the League of American Bicyclists in November 2017. This prestigious award is presented only to campuses with remarkable commitments to bicycling, and is awarded based on multiple factors, aka the five Es: ride encouragement, safety education, traffic enforcement, infrastructure engineering improvements, and need/use evaluation as well as staffing and overall safety.

NMSU is proud to receive this award, and encourages all students, staff, and faculty to support NMSU’s commitment to being an active, healthy, and environmentally responsible campus by supporting bicycling.   For additional information, please go to https://bikes.nmsu.edu/ or to our NMSU Bicycling Facebook events pages
