Emergency Preparedness and Safety Information
As the fall semester gets underway, Environmental Health Safety & Risk Management reminds each of you to review the safety, health and security updates. Emergency preparedness is everyone’s responsibility and a collaborative effort at New Mexico State University. Emergency preparedness, safety information and an event schedule for Las Cruces is provided on NMSU Safety website at https://safety.nmsu.edu/
Everyone should select how they want to receive emergency notifications. Instructors should inform students at the beginning of each semester of the specific emergency and evacuation procedures. Other campuses should communicate to their staff and students the emergency plans and procedures which are specific to their campus location.
