Announcement: Evening Defensive Driving Class - ADDITIONAL CLASS
In response to requests, EH&S is adding an evening Defensive Driving Classes (DDC) to its spring schedule on April 1 and 2, 2003. The schedule and details are posted at
University Safety Website - http://www.nmsu.edu/~safetyThis class is one of the requirements for a permit to drive university vehicles and may qualify for a reduction in rates from insurance companies. Course registrants must attend the entire National Safety Council course in order to receive a certificate of completion and/or NMSU driving permit. Classes typically include 35-45 persons and are open to the public.
Registration
Classes often fill early, please register at least two weeks in advance
to ensure a reservation. Please use the form at
On-line registration formYou will be billed for registration if you fail to attend and neglect to cancel prior to the course.
Those taking the class for personal reasons should use the online form and sent/provide payment before the class in order to reserve their registration. Additional details on driving permits, policy and maps to the classroom are provided via the above link.
Departments should print and post the noted DDC web page for information.
