NMSU follows the Essential Elements of a Bicycle Friendly America. These “Five E’s are what makes NMSU a great place for bicycling and was designated in 2013 and 2017 as a Bicycle Friendly University by the League of American Bicyclists.
Bike Repair & Maintenance
- NMSU DERO Fix-It Stations: Use to maintain your bike (video)
- These stations include all the tools necessary to perfomr basic repairs.
- The tools and air pump are securely attached to the stand with stainless steel cables and tamper-proof fasteners.
- Hanging the bike from the arms allows the pedals and wheels to spin freely while making adjustments.
