Environmental Health Safety & Risk Management (EHS&RM) assists the campus community in creating a safe environment for faculty, staff, students, and visitors. EHS&RM interprets national, state and local regulations related to occupational and environmental health and safety. We provide guidance and support to NMSU operations and safety programs, encourage good loss prevention practice, and advise Senior Administration on business aspects of environmental health and safety.

EHS&RM provides many services directly, but also expects University departments to assume responsibility for the safety of their activities. The programs listed below provide guidance and resources to ensure a safe campus.
