According the National Safety Council, agricultural is the most hazardous industry in the nation. NMSU is a land grant university and through the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences manages a principal research unit that is a system of scientists who work on facilities on the main campus in Las Cruces and at 12 agriculture research and science centers throughout the state of New Mexico.
