NMSU has an UAS training/practice field located on main campus. It is on the south‐east end of the campus. Pilots operating on the field do not need to file a flight request. However, notification to Environmental Health Safety and Risk Management must still occur to ensure that the unit is currently covered under insurance and that the pilot has a current license.
